Our reputation is built on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding service within the property development sector Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Fitter / Installer to join our team to start on the 13th of October 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional installation of kitchen base and wall units, worktops, splashbacks, and integrated appliances in accordance with approved kitchen design plans and technical drawings. You will ensure all installations meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities ⦁ Install base units and wall-mounted kitchen units according to approved kitchen design plans and technical drawings. ⦁ Read and interpret kitchen layouts, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately. ⦁ Measure and mark surfaces to ensure precise and accurate installation. ⦁ Securely fit cabinetry, ensuring correct alignment and adequate provision for appliances, worktops, and splashbacks. ⦁ Install worktops, including precise cut-outs for sinks and induction hobs. ⦁ Fit splashbacks with accurate cut-outs for electrical sockets. ⦁ Install end panels, plinths, cornices, pelmets, and fillers to a high finish. ⦁Install integrated appliances including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, washer/dryer, induction hob, sink, and extractor hood. ⦁ Ensure all appliance doors are securely attached and properly connected to existing services. ⦁ Align extractor hoods and sinks with previously installed cabinetry and utilities. ⦁ Finish joints and corners with appropriate sealants. ⦁ Conduct final inspections to ensure all installations meet design and quality standards. ⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues on-site. ⦁ Maintain compliance with all relevant building codes, health & safety regulations, and company standards. ⦁ Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized upon completion, with proper disposal of debris and dust. ⦁ Provide and maintain all necessary tools and equipment for installation tasks. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: ⦁ At least 2 years of proven experience as a kitchen fitter, with a demonstrated track record of successful kitchen installations. ⦁ Expertise in fitting kitchen units, cabinets, worktops, and appliances with precision and attention to detail. ⦁ Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. ⦁ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. ⦁ Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. ⦁ Must own full set of tools and PPE are required. ⦁ Clean and valid Driver's license and access to own transport is preferred. ⦁ Valid CSCS card (preferred). Payment Options: ⦁ Quoted price work AVAILABLE and PREFERRED ⦁ Alternatively, an hourly rate of £ 22 per hour. Our reputation is built on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding service within the property development sector Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Builder to join our team on-site in Wigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of general building tasks and finishing works as required throughout the project. The role requires hands-on experience in painting, basic plumbing (such as replacing taps or fixing leaks), and basic electrical work (such as replacing sockets or fittings), along with the ability to perform joinery and other trade-related tasks when needed. Experience with telehandlers or excavators would be a strong advantage. This is a site-based role suited to someone physically fit, practical, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering quality work efficiently and to a high standard. Key Duties and Responsibilities: · Carry out a wide range of general building and finishing tasks, including 1st and 2nd fix joinery, plaster patching, painting, insulation installation, and basic plumbing and electrical work. · Experience operating telehandlers or excavators would be a strong advantage. · Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to complete work accurately. · Work collaboratively with project and site managers to prioritise and complete assigned tasks. · Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, ensuring all works comply with site health and safety standards. · Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively. · Report any site issues, material shortages, or delays to the site manager promptly. · Adhere to company safety policies and always use appropriate PPE. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: · Proven experience as a General Builder or multi-skilled labourer in a similar construction environment. · Strong practical skills in painting, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work are essential. · Experience operating telehandlers or excavators is highly desirable. · Ability to carry out joinery, patching, and other general trade tasks to a high standard. · Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are required due to site location and mobility requirements. · Own tools and PPE are required. · Valid CSCS card (preferred). · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. · Proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. · Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. · Good communication skills and a professional, positive attitude. · Familiarity with health and safety standards and site compliance requirements. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience and expertise. Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work required.
